Dual Vocational Education and Training
The "Dual" Vocational Education and Training originated in Germany, attracting worldwide attention and taking a leading position in the field of world vocational education and training. The so-called "Dual" means that the students, who participate in vocational education training, must complete their learning and training in two places during the entire 2-3 years of vocational education training. At “one place”, professional theoretical knowledge and normal courses are received in vocational schools. At “the other place”, practical exercise and professional training related to vocational work are received in enterprises or in inter-company training centers.

The "Dual" Vocational Education and Training effectively combines theory with practice, which is led by companies. Vocational theories learned in schools will be put into practical training and daily production. The learning purpose of students is clear-"learning for future work", which greatly enhances the student’ interest in learning and practicing by themselves.
Each stage of the "Dual" Vocational Education and Training is closely emphasized on the needs of company's employment, which strengthens the social utility, and builds a solid bridge between company employment and college vocational education.
For some companies that lack resources such as training teachers and training equipment, inter-company training centers have emerged as the times require, and they have become the "third element" in the "Dual” Vocational Education and Training model, that is, they take part of the corporate training and assist companies to complete the vocational practical training at company.
